Emily holds degrees from Eckerd College and Prescott College in environmental studies. She is also a published author in many mediums, and an award winning artist. Her environmental background includes field work for endangered species, designing and conducting social science projects, and developing and implementing education and outreach materials. Growing up on a tree farm in Maine, she was tuned into her natural surroundings at an early age. The environment is a source of inspiration for her writing and art. Emily continues to develop entertaining and educational products for all ages. When she is not working on these endeavors, she is usually in the water, creating a new culinary dish, or taking her dog on an adventure.
